About The Artist...

Steve Hendrickson is the "Lead Pan Player" for the Carnival Steel Drum Band.

As you listen to the 15 volumes in the best-selling Steel Drum Island Collection, you are hearing Steve playing every melody on his orchestra quality steel drums.

He has performed extensively throughout the Caribbean, United States, Europe and Australia... and is often available for private functions and corporate events.

How Does It Work?

• Although Steve is the President of Tropical Music International (and, more importantly, the father of a 5 & 7 year old!) he still makes time to play for special events. He can be found performing at Private Weddings in The Virgin Islands, International Fishing Tournaments & Boat Shows or Grand Openings of Resorts & Retail outlets throughout the year.
  
  
• For Weddings... please listen to the "a cappella" clips and the "accompaniment" clips. They showcase what he will sound like at your wedding.
  
  "A cappella" is just Steve playing his steel drums, without anything else! He has played like this at beach weddings, on remote islands in the caribbean, and even on a yacht in Sydney Harbour during the 2000 Olympics... so let your imagination run wild.
  
  "Accompaniment" is more common. He simply use the studio masters from his Steel Drum Island Collection CDs, and plays all of the steel drum parts LIVE at your wedding. This creates a very full sound along with the "coolness factor" of having a live steel drum player. Of course, this requires that he has electricity available.
  
  
• The most important consideration is the date of the event. As soon as you have a date in mind for your event, please let us know and we will see if Steve is available. If not, we may be able to assist you with finding someone else to suit your needs.
